Case
Luxury shower cabins must look very appealing and pack a lot of features at the same time. Functionality and aesthetics are both very important but they have to be managed in a way that they don't diminish each other.
Challenge
Our goal was to design a standard product that would feel like a personalized one, a shower cabin that would look like it was specially tailored for your home. We also wanted to enhance in the experience of the user by focusing our attention on its features and the interface that would make them accessible.
Solution
We gave Wellsuit a very architectural look and we stayed away from the typical plastic finishes, which tend to look cheap. The cabin has a lot of transparent surface, which allows it to blend with the rest of the room and gives you a non-claustrophobic and homely feel. We did research in order to find out which features do consumers really use in cabin showers and which ones end up becoming pointless. Finally, we gave Wellsuit a digital interface that makes it classier and more precise, and sets it apart from the usual mechanic controls.
