Case
The client wanted us to design a new kitchen safety line.
Challenge
As it happens with kitchenware, there is little room for innovation and improvement.
Solution
We combined neoprene and platinum silicone to create three products: a mitt, a trivet and a grip. The materials allowed ultra thin, easy to store tools with a casual, modern look. The set is perfect for people who want to bring a more sophiticated, tech-looking flair to their kitchen.
The mitt is ambidextrous, non-slip and impermeable. Its dented surface can protect your hands from burns up to 220º.
The grip features the same dented surface and is very useful for holding all types of utensils with no risk of burning. The design adapts easily to the hand ans is very easy to pick up and release. it is hygienic and easy to wash.
The trivet has a slot in the back that enables it many functions by allowing a glove-like grip.
